I am seventy years old and have had seven different surgeries, including surviving gall bladder cancer, liver and neck surgeries; The surgeon said I needed shoulder surgery.

My daughter-in-law suggested I try acupuncture as she has had great success with different problems.

I was in chronic pain in my shoulder area and taking many pain pills-this being a problem for the past year. David Wang told me that I would need 4 or 5 treatments. After two treatments I didn't feel any different, so I thought I would quit taking them. My daughter-in-law convinced me I should take what treatments David Wang had recommended. I still cannot believe the results, after my third treatment I have been pain free and have so very much energy. I now feel better than I have felt in many years. Dear Dr. Wang,

I have been diagnosed with sciatic nerve problems. I had gain that ran from my left hip, down my leg, to my ankle. I had X-rays of my hip and back. Nothing was broken. My primary care physician made the diagnosis. I was given pain killers and a prescription for physical therapy. I tolerated the therapy for two weeks and just couldn't handle the pain any more. I told the therapist that I knew that she was good at what she did, but it just wasn't working for me.

The pain was so severe that I thought about cutting my own leg off. I had met Dr. Wang at the Chinese Christian Church's Health Fair in October and had picked up this card. I decided to call and get an appointment. I received relief after one treatment. In fact, I have not experienced any m ore pain since I first saw Dr. Wang.

Because I had received relief with acupuncture for the sciatic nerve, I decided to ask about treatment for my colitis. I had been bleeding for three years. I had several colonoscopies, with no finding of cancer. I had been given suppositories and pills, but nothing worked. Acupuncture worked for me. I no longer see bright red blood every time I pass feces.

I am a 76-year-old female with Type II Diabetes. I've had very painful neuropathY in my left foot for approximately 3 years.

The pain would grab me in the evenings or middle of the night and I would sit up to 3:00 or 4:00 AM every morning.

I've had 2 surgeries on my left foot within a two-year period of time to remove a neuroma, with no resolution of the pain. I've used a Tens Electrodes Unit, Lidocaine Patches, She inserts with new shoes; every thing that was prescribed for me, but nothing helped.

Fortunately, my Nurse Practitioner suggested Acupuncture and gave me Dr. David Wang's phone number. I started treatment with Dr. Wang in February 2-5, with visits twice a week, then once a week, now I go every other week. I sleep all night without pain, thanks to Dr. Wang. He was my last hope. The treatments are painless and effective. He is very professional and concerned.

Let me start my letter by saying THANK YOU!!!!

As you know, in February 1998, I was involved in a rollover auto accident that left me with chronic back pain. It was discovered that the damage to my back entailed the fracture of my first and second lumbar vertebrae. When the accident occurred, I was six weeks pregnant and only 26 years old. I did not allow any testing at the time due to possible damage to my babe. I went thru the entire pregnancy, labor and delivery, and breast feeding before x-rays, MRI, CAT Scans could be completed. During this time period, the vertebrae healed, however, they are now compressed and all "cushion" between them is gone. Since the accident, I have dealt with chronic back pain on a daily basis.

In my search for relief from the pain, I have tried physical therapy, massotherapy, water therapy and exercises to go along with all therapies with little or no relief. I have been on a daily regimen of pain reliever Vicodin and muscle relaxer Flexeril since the accident. I am now 33 years old and still looking for pain relief. In talking to my doctor, he suggested that I give acupuncture a try to try to avoid surgery.

I was given your name from a friend that told me about her success with your treatments. I was willing to give acupuncture a try so I called and scheduled my first appointment with you. To my surprise, after the first treatment, I could bend down and tie my shoes! It may seem like trivial to some, but after not being able to do this for many years, I was excited!!! I continued my treatments with you, each one making me feel better and better!!

Just the other night, I was able to get on the floor and color with my kids. I haven't been able to lay flat on my stomach for some time so I thought that since I was feeling so good that I would give it a try. To my surprise, I could do it!! I laid there and cried. My kids asked what was wrong? I told them, "Look at me, I'm on the floor with you and my back is ok!!!" Even when I stood up, still no back pain!!!

I am now at the point that I might have to take a Vicodin and Flexeril maybe once a week. And that's only if I have over did it in my activities. I cannot possible tell you how much the acupuncture treatments have helped me. I feel like I can live again and do what I want, when I want and for however long I want!!!! My back truly feels like that accident never happened.

In March 2004, I strained my back during an on-the-job accident. Over a six month period, I was treated by eighteen different medical professionals ranging from neurologists to massage therapists. All of whom attempted undauntedly to ease the pain. During this time, fourteen different medications were prescribed, ranging from anti-inflammatories, narcotics, muscle relaxers, to anti-depressants and vitamins. None of which relieved the debilitating pain.

Four months after the accident, I saw an ad in the local newspaper for the American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM), and I decided to inquire. I was referred to Dr. Wang through the AIAM clinic and set up a consultation appointment. Fourteen sessions later, my condition was cured and my pain had disappeared. Today, five months later, I am still pain free thanks to the effort of Dr. Wang and acupuncture.

Dear Dr. Wang,

I want you to know how pleased I am with your treatments for neuropathy in my feet.

When I came to see you with this condition, I was uncomfortable with the tingling and numb feeling. I was taking large doses of neurontin just to stay confortable. Nights were especially difficult with the discomfort keeping me awake. I was led to expect I’d end up in a wheel chair.

Your acupuncture treatments have given me relief from the symptoms that, besides the discomfort, were making me worry about the safety of walking as my feet kept feeling numb.

I have suffered with asthma and allergies most of my life. I could not be out in the night air or enjoy flowers and plants in my home. I would have to shut the doors and windows whenever my husband or the neighbor would cut the grass.
